For many organizations, the web often feels like the Wild West: too little content governance, a loosely defined content strategy, competing departments, and a lack of direction. In this interactive workshop, attendees will learn best practices for governing web content. You’ll learn options for organizing your web content contributors, how to mediate conflicts between groups, and how to maintain a consistent editorial style and voice. This workshop will include two association case studies in web governance and hands-on activities that will help you figure out where your web content governance needs to be improved and how to take steps to make things better.
